EIGHT SEGMENTS OF CROSSOCTANT- PACKED* COUPLER

*each MITE across two octants of the COUPLER

There are 8 MITE segments on both the obverse and reverse sides of the crossoctant packed COUPLER as depicted above. Segments 1, 3, 5, 7 on the obverse will always have either a negative MITE with a green BCE Bmod face or a positive MITE with an orange (Amod) A- face on the obverse and its' red BCE Bmod face on the reverse; and segments 2, 4, 6, 8 will always have a positive MITE with a red BCE Bmod face or a negative MITE with its blue (Amod) A+ face on the obverse and its' green BCE Bmod face on the reverse side. There can be no more than 4 positive and/or 4 negative BCE Bmod faces on the obverse or reverse side of any crossoctant-packed COUPLER. The COUPLER above has 4 negative and 4 positive MITES with all of the BCE Bmod faces on the obverse and none on the reverse; therefore, in a cubic packing it can be used to build either RD1 with the reverse side outward or RD2 with the obverse side outward in the packing.
