"Building learning organizations involves developing people who learn to see as systems thinkers see, who develop their own personal mastery, and who learn how to surface and restructure mental models,
collaboratively. Given the influence of organizations in today's world, this may be one of the most powerful steps toward helping us "rewrite the code," altering not just what we think but our predominant ways of thinking."
~ Peter Senge from The Fifth Discipline.

Dwayne Cox
Proudly Introduces Dwayne Cox, President of Synergy Central

Sharing the vision of DreamTEAMS International, we too role model organizations of the future. As a global network of entrepreneurs, visionaries, thought leaders, change agents and pioneers, we are passionately committed to the transformation of organizations; to the empowerment and self-actualization of individuals. Building a global virtual community of those passionate about living life to the fullest in every way, we enjoy the leverage derived from synergistic collaboration.

My areas of interest involve inspiring and fostering virtual teams, communities of practice, knowledge sharing, leadership, and the development of powerful interpersonal communication skills. Personally, I am exploring inspiration and elegance. How can I convey that which I am most passionate about in ways that move, touch and inspire my audience? How can I add the most value to the most people with the most leverage?

As most cultural creatives know only too well, our ability to express that which we are most passionate about is limited. The global virtual community of Synergy Central offers many solutions to the challenges of utilizing web based tools and technology in bringing together visionary global corporations and social entrepreneurs. What drives us is a passion to leverage our collective intelligence in order to increase and share knowledge, ideas, resources, insights and wisdom. All are welcome to participate in whatever ways they feel moved to.

Catalysts For Change As Viewed By Dwayne

My background is in social psychology and business. As a Transformation Consultant in organizational development and business, and as a Results Coach working with entrepreneurs and global corporations, I am well exposed to the thought evolution. From my perspective as an Agent of Change and social entrepreneur, I see many catalysts affecting social change. Two I am very passionate about, are these:

  • Communication catalyzed by web-based technologies
The Internet is really just the birth of this powerful evolution in knowledge sharing, self-expression and leadership.

  • A shift in Social Capital
Our evolution into a knowledge/wisdom worker based economy is catalyzing a paradigm shift in our collective consciousness.

Thank you Bernie, for your energy in creating, facilitating and moderating this C4C initiative.

Warmly, Dwayne Cox

Dwayne, obviously you have had a wealth of experience. Other than what I have seen at the links you have provided, we've bumped into each other at several online discussions. Many ‘newbies’, who have not yet had the experiences you/we have, seem to have major barriers to getting past the dialogue phase. They are, or feel stuck. Participating can be a BIG STEP. What might you suggest in helping non-panelist feel comfortable in making that step?

I wish I could clone myself. There are so many places I want to be and only so much time in the day. This question is one many of us puzzle over. Personally, more and more I am feeling that it is ok to expect the newcomer to explore and persist, eventually crossing the threshold when it feels right. I believe when the timing is right, and with some experience, the newcomer will begin seeking collaborative opportunities, if not initiating them. Everyone has to choose for themselves when they are ready. Until that choice is made, the commitment will not be what it needs to be.

I believe the commitment comes with experience of the environment. Really, we are back to looking at Tuchman's model of Team development. What comes before storming? Exploring maybe? Experimenting perhaps? Researching?
