Through Krista's Eyes is called a "journal of discovery", and it is just that. Like the vast majority of young people (and adults), Krista feels confused about herself and life in general. The ambitious dreams she had have now turned into nightmares of reality - major decisions have got to be made soon concerning the future, and she doesn't feel equipped to deal with them.

When she looks around at her friends, she sees that they are having problems of their own. When she looks at the world around her, it doesn't exactly seem to be a likely place to turn to for reassurance. Her frustrations finally force her to look at feelings and concepts that she knows she has to sort out, because she knows that nobody can do it for her.

This is a diary of discovery and loss, laughter and tears, Heaven and Hell. It teaches that we all hold the keys to our own self-esteem, compassion for others, understanding of our role in the world, and ultimate happiness....
