They just use them as if it is the most natural thing in the world. With Zen we put our TV on a timer so that he can not just get up very early or even in the middle of the night to watch it, so now we wake up because he is either on Noggin or plays with his friend Kim Possible . But that Nadia finds herself on the web is interesting. I have kept Zen secret so far because my idea is that having kids makes you vulnerable, especially when on not so good terms with the government - too many bad stories with social services etc, and so Zen Zielke does not appear much on a google search - the only place I actually found him was as a completion of a course of the LA Orienteering club (as a funny side remark, I found myself - or my name - in a list of solo course completions on a scientology web site!), but now that his name is here on your blog, I wanna see, how this ripples through onto the search engines. Are comments actually also rss'ed or only the articles themselves? 5 Mar 2004 @ 16:10 by jmarc : cute kid you've got there ming, and gunter, i can sympathize with you about keeping the kid a secret on the web. Alot of mean spirited people out there on the web will take any anounced vulnerability and amplify it to there own use. It's a fine balance people have to make between their pride in their children and protecting them from the big unknown demons awaiting out there. 5 Mar 2004 @ 16:46 by martha : better watch out ming she will have your job soon...if she gets tired of France just send her to me please. 7 Mar 2004 @ 18:51 by george dafermos @195.97.43.55 : i know exactly what you mean... he he:-) i suppose this is life, whether we like it or not. just give any 7-12 year old a playstation and challenge them. you can't win (if you're now older than 21). i've tried this a few times with several of my younger cousins (aged 13-20). after shooting a few rounds to warm up and get acquainted with the game environment, i never managed to win. perhaps it's just me, but i doubt it. 26 Mar 2004 @ 05:29 by Lionel @81.50.74.34 : Nadia ;-) I found the story really funny.
