Earthtribe-Gather: Mayan mask

A solar year ago tonight, our neighbor Venus-Quetzalcoatl, passed through a conjunction to begin the first leg of
her-his synodic cycle of 584 days. She's been here as our morning star for some time now, and has recently emerged as our evening star. The circle, the square, and the pyramid of Egypt through the view of a Mayan mask.

And I also like the way you publish this log, sort of discreet, lol!

1 Nov 2003 @ 05:57 by swan : We have been tracking Her for
a year when I made a note in my journal setting the intention to follow what came. Do you feel the changes? Riding Venus gives me a new kind of wings, and vision from a different vantage point.

It might be my imagination but I see a hummingbird in this mask.

Shawa. The trajectory of this log goes all the way back to number one when I started posting the poetic sequence to the accompaniement of your imagry.
It's interesting to me to note the pattern of unfolding through time of this current sequence of images, some separated by a few days, and others by weeks.
Swan. Although I can't say that I can exactly distinguish between which forces are operating and to what depth during any given period, simply the sense for an alternative pattern of time is refreshing. The solar and lunar patterns are deeply impressed in our minds. Just having an awareness of this 584 day cycle between the rising and falling of the evening star and the rising and falling of the morning star can have an influence on how we feel and think about our progressions of events. Like knowing where the fine tuning for more subtle aspects of our being is coming from.

I was so focused on the moon and its cycles for so many years of my life and I think this is probably true for many women as the menstrual cycle is connected to it. There is a different quality to aligning with Venus as the morning star and evening star that happens on a subtle and probably not so subtle level. If I wake up in the darkness and look out my window, Venus is the first thing I see, when before I would be looking for the moon. I believe there might be a different pattern to my creativity but I would have to go back through my journal to determine what it is. I have written in my journal everyday since we started tracking Venus a year ago so at some point I might go back and check.
