An interesting article reference appeared in my e-mail today.
The article was in NewScientist, on Heim Quantum Physics. The theory is apparently quite well developed, and took the physics community by surprise. Apparently most people don't understand it very well, but nobody has yet poked any major holes in it.
The article is: Take a leap into hyperspace on newscientist.com.
Doing a Google search on "Burkhard Heim" and following the links I found the following paper:
Heim Quantum Theory for SpacePropulsion Physics - Warning, lots of math... :-)
More on hyperdimesional physics in the article: "Mathematical Realization of Higher Dimensional Space"
I've always wondered just how far we are from star travel. With current advances in zero point theory, my guess is that we are within a couple hundred years of a working starship. Maybe I'm being too conservative. More >

Saw this on CNN.com. This is really spooky, folks...
"Officials discuss how to delay Election Day"
I have always thought that this upcoming election will be the survival test for what's left of democracy in the USA. Regardless of the results, the election must be clean. If this election is not squeaky clean then we really are in deep trouble.
And now this comes out. What next?

Hi All,
A very dark episode in the whole cold fusion story is just now unfolding. Apparently Dr. Eugene Mallove was killed a few days ago under what appears to be very suspicious circumstances.

Hi All,
I read through the latest Whitley's Journal on the Unknown Country website. To say the least, I was a bit surprised. Whitley seems to come out somewhat in favor of intervention in Iraq.
Normally, W.S. tends to take a pacifist role, but he also tends to take a unique stance on issues.
Take a look at the article and let me know what you think.
Namaste,
-Craig More >
