One Seeker's Journey: Smiles, Tears, Life Goes On

The evening of 9/11, as my wife and I sat in church, singing and praying - and shedding a tear or two, I heard one of the most moving messages yet. It was about the present moment, and about getting on with life.

Wednesday 9/11/02 was about the past - namely 9/11/01.
On 9/11/02, we took time out for one very moving, tribute filled day to honor the dead. Many of us stopped what we were doing and took a look at the world - as it was a year ago, and it is today, one year later.

Thursday 9/12/02 is about the present. The rest of us once again awake as we always have. We go to work, return home, pay bills, and continue on with the bussiness of life. And perhaps that's the best honor we can pay those who died, to continue on with the present moment.

Even as we remember and honor those who perished, life goes on...

Namaste,
-Craig
