But in the modern corruption ie; ethos vs pathos. What I was referring to was 'false pride', as the motivator of personality. This....does lead to a closed heart. I have seen it too many times. It is so easy to fall into patterns of not listening to your heart. With Dana's Love, Sylhara. 9 Sep 2002 @ 15:38 by kay : Welcome to the world of the newslog. They can be a dynamic challenging world and good for your ability to answer to vax's comment. You don't back down. I like that a lot. I think of Ego as personality hangups. Back in the time of Greece it probably did have the meaning that Vaxen states but we are a different society with different concepts. 10 Sep 2002 @ 01:35 by vaxen : not so... dear kay the word is essentially the same even though it was purposely tainted to confuse. semantics can also cleanse the world of a lot of 'false concepts' introduced through the 'false pride' of those who would be 'masters' and enslave us through perverting, to their ends, the very languages we speak! In any case I'm glad sylhara is here and dana I understood your meaning. ;) 10 Sep 2002 @ 01:46 by jazzolog : Falling---Even Jumping I too see the precipice with great clarity.
