| 2012 The Movie and the Mayan Calendar | |

I'm willing to wager nothing will happen on December 21st, 2012.
The movie 2012 just came out yesterday with all the Hollywood dramatics and special effects; natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons and glaciers. I don't feel anything exactly like that will happen after 2012 either. However, just when everybody has become complacent, dismissed everything as just another Y2K hoax, the proverbial will hit the fan. Like Y2K, people are now sensing "something" will take place, and then 911 came 21 months later.
Just like the hottest days of summer always lag a good month behind the summer solstice, events will lag behind the demarcation point of 2012. I feel certain that dramatic events will have taken place by the end of 2020, although I don't know exactly what. As time goes on the "house of cards" of global economy and financial system will undoubtedly collapse and create all the repercussions that come with that. We need to realize that we cannot keep pillaging the Earth for its resources in wanton abandon in a system of individual endeavor for profit to "earn a living," no mater how extravagant and superfluous that may be. We have lost our divine connection with the Earth and surroundings, through relentlessly feeding of our material wants for ever more and more, in order to satiate the need to feel fulfilled. Capitalism, as we know it, is no longer a viable way of life. The Gaia Hypothesis, of viewing the Earth as its own organism, predicts that natural forces will come into play to maintain equilibrium when any of its parts develop out of control and become profuse. Global Warming with climate change is taking a toe hold playing its part and related Earth changes will start to escalate and have their ramifications. As for pole shifts, asteroids, wars and the like, these are additional possibilities that are less clear.
For certain, an episode of Trials and Tribulation lies in the times to come.

Well, as I have come to understand, part of the Mayan calendar, lists past Ice ages, I will wager that these Iceages are based on the Suns solar output, and this is why that calendar ends when it does, many anciant races worshiped the Sun, so it stands to reason that they also knew solar cycles very well. You know there is this one group of anciants that somehow knew of a star system that even early telescopes couldnt see, and until recently we have found there are 3 stars in this system not just the 2 that we can see, so I have to say either way back when all the stars in space were closer, or they had some tech that was able to see that stuff 1000s of years before we came up with the tech.

When was the last time the colonized mind correctly interpreted indigenous wisdom and knowledge. For instance, have you seen the English version of the Bhagavad Gita… what a joke. Likewise the flawed interpretation and conversion of the Mayan calendar. The colonized mind, with mondo disposition for linear-thinking, desires to demarcate the beginning and end of the wheel of life. They actually want to know where the wheel starts and stops. Comical. With great joy and anticipation I await the January 2013 new-age light-worker rebuttal. Let me guess, guardian angels swooped down from the upper levels of heaven and diverted the 2012 'End of the world' - saving mankind from a fate far worse than lacking self empowerment.
