Agreed with just about everything except my spiritual life leans more to the teachings of Christ. Christianity has nothing to do with the so called christians religions embraced by American society today. It is far more eastern than they manifest. Christ said "(you shall know) even the spirit of truth that the world cannot perceive. When you aspire to goodness it is hard to perceive that there are people that are just plain evil..."I send you out as sheep amidst the wolves." JC. I am trying to learn not to "cast my pearls before swine and give what is holy to the dogs." 17 Jul 2003 @ 08:08 by Noelle @161.181.53.10 : Hello Unckle Frank I think you do an outstanding job on your website! Hurrican Claudette hit the area and we are working with the disaster relief there, in conjunction with FEMA. It's really interesting. The only draw-back is that we had to leave our dog, Quincy, with Roy's parents. We came home for the Labor Day weekend, but have to go back tonight. Love the postcards--keep them coming. Your big sis! 1 Sep 2003 @ 17:13 by JoAnna Baird @12.211.125.91 : Hello Uncle Frank Hi Uncle Frank. I got your postcard. I really liked the home page. Things are going well here. I just wanted to let y'all know that Graham and Tiffany and their respective partners, Michelle and Eden, evacuated New Orleans early. After staying a few days in Houston ('cause the hurricane was only gonna cause them to be away a few days, as usual) they finally made it home last week. They had only prepared for 3 days. Anyway they are all here with us and have had such a wonderful outpouring of generousity from their friends from all over the country. It really has surprised them how so many people have called and written and brought over clothes and food. They are so grateful and so am I! Like Tiffany said, well we got out everything that was irreplaceable (meaning them). They have no idea what, if anything, is left at their house. Ever the optimist, Tiffany said she sure hopes that people looted the food from their fridge 'cause the thought of going back sometime in the future to a fridge that's been off for weeks is not something she looks forward to. 22 Sep 2006 @ 14:55 by Chere @168.54.180.139 : 9/22/06 Postcard I really enjoying getting your postcards. It looks like to put a lot of time into developing your site. Tell Nicole congratulations for me! Lova ya! 10 Mar 2007 @ 14:06 by Chere @68.203.199.234 : Here, here. Terriffic argument!!! Religious Control of Sex I don't believe that most pro-lifers are sincere about life or really give a damn about the life of the baby. I say this because these same people are not the least bit interested in the welfare of the child after it's born. Many of these people are against all forms of contraception and birth control. They oppose sex education and sterilization which prevent the need for abortions. They are opposed to family planning. And many people that call themselves pro-life support terrorism against abortion doctors and abortion clinics. What this is really all about is that they see sex as a sin and pregnancy as God's way of punishing women for being sluts. They believe that if you take away abortion and birth control that the fear of pregnancy will either force women to not have sex, or allow God to punish them through pregnancy. I believe in religious freedom. If you want to believe that God is a sadistic sex pervert who gets his jollies out of torturing people forever with fire, you have the right to believe it. However, you don't have the right to impose your sick religion on me. And just because you have the right to believe what you want doesn't make your beliefs true or make you any less of a nut for believing it.
