When you enter that dark tunnel, you won't see the light at the end. People will tell you it is there, and you may know, deep whithin that it is there, but it isn't visible.
Sometimes when you know the light is there, you still don't want to reach for it. Maybe because you are afraid of what that light will reveal, or maybe because you are sick of going through tunnels, only to find that after a period of light, there will always be another tunnel to go through. More >

Life can change in a New York minute. You could loose everything. Your home, your truck, your money, your family, everything. The story of mankind, I guess. Well, at least they have internet access at the library here.

HAMPTON FALLS, N.H.
Ex-governor gets a new title
John H. Sununu, former governor and White House chief of staff, can add a new title to his résumé -- town hog wrangler. Sununu and his wife, Nancy, recently were bestowed with the title of Hampton Falls hog reeve. The post dates to the 1700s and means the couple are responsible for rounding up pigs that get loose in town. The honorary title is usually given to newcomers . The Sununus recently moved from Salem to Hampton Falls to be closer to family on the coast. They were sworn in at the town deliberative session and presented with a badge. Sununu, who was governor for three terms in the 1980s and chief of staff to President George H.W. Bush from 1989 to 1991, called the title a great honor and added: "If you need any hogs rounded up, call me." (AP) More >
