Milton Friedman has Died, at the age of 94.

By my mathematics, that means he outlasted that other famous economist John Maynard Keynes, by 31 years.

Which just goes to prove, if you want to live a long long time, embrace the free market, and when the government tries to give you a handout, tell them to get lost.

Free marketeers rule!

Pollution.

Nobody likes it.

Chemicals in our ground water is bad enough, but how about all of those campaign signs left out after the election. Nothing worse on a cold late Novemnber day than seeing a campaign sign blowing down the street, like some old plastic shopping bag.

It's just depressing.

Here's my solution.  More >

So, I didn't have my glasses on when I typed You Tube into google, and ran into this litle gem, by accident, I guess you could say. It referrs to Rube Goldberg, I guess, rather than a rustic character as in "Hey Rube", as Hunter Thompson used to say.

Anyway, this is something that I could picture a few of you characters here-abouts constructing.

Gong.

Sort of peaceful, isn't it?  More >

Well, election day approaches again.

It will be over soon, and we can all get back to some level of normal here in the states.

Maybe.

Well, here's some dancing donkeys and elephants for ya.

I know...Animated dancing gifs is so web 1.0, eh?

Anyway, be sure to push the play button on the Odeo player first, at the top of the page. It's so much better to dance to music, right?

Someday I'll make it a flash page...  More >

Killer Fact:
Those in the military have far more education, on average, than the general population. Over 99% of enlisted people have a HS diploma and about 3/4 of them have some college course work. The officers are all well-educated with extraordinary percentages having graduate degrees.  More >
