i want to be invited into &

a red sun holds me close
then turns me loose

it means nothing

dance is the ultimate trust
you can't find yourself or your partner anywhere
there is only the dance
on the scale of hugs today people are dancesteps
1 step for associate
4 steps for friend
8 steps for comrade
& who is to say
if no step is zero
or just a dancer waiting for a partner
circling zero in overdue pi &
multiplying wait by thirds cubed
which is to ask
what is trust
(sometimes i get away from the real dance
