Category: Articles 9 comments 19 Sep 2003 @ 12:31 by vibrani : It's been donebefore, at NCN. Sometimes there are one or two couples who still come in together. ================================ Ed. We are not alone... 19 Sep 2003 @ 13:00 by hgoodgame : My husband joined but never logs in. He's not the verbal half of our relationship, hehe. If he did log in then I couldn't since we only have one computer line. I'd love to be able to both log on, then we could play computer games together. (We're going thru our second teenage-hood together and play games like Diablo online, kill, kill, haha). Maybe someday.. 19 Sep 2003 @ 13:05 by martha : alana and max met on ncn and are now married. but not sure if they sign on together. My sweetie won't come on NCN anymore but you can read his log under mmmarks whycando room.(on rare occassions thought he does come on ncn while I'm here but doesn't tell me...the sneak) 19 Sep 2003 @ 15:02 by susannahbe : yes you are weird :-)... (thank goodness). Joe and I used to surf together when we were first discovering the internet but used to fight for control of the mouse! ;-) so we ended up with a computer each. Occasionally we still do surf together. ========================== Ed. you are the friends mentioned in original article. 19 Sep 2003 @ 17:00 by spiritseek : Well all depends... are you using the same computer and same chair? That would be weird, but if not then no! My daughter lives in the house connected to mine but we talk more on the computer together then we do visiting each others homes. Or I will say brb and go to her house to use the bathroom,my place is being remodeled, say hi and get back online to her. ============== Ed. same computer, but we splashed out on two cheap chairs. 19 Sep 2003 @ 19:09 by scotty : at last ! a 'couple' on line - Together ! oof - being a Gemini I've been wondering if 'we' were being weird all by myself ! 19 Sep 2003 @ 19:12 by martha : hey scotty we already know you are a two faced Gemini. Poor thing (sorry I'm still heated from my asylum comments to someone who thinks it is OK to kill arabs) 20 Sep 2003 @ 01:17 by craiglang : Changing lives ...and shifting currents of life - I have found that among many baby boomer couples, one or the other partner gets involved in more spiritual or progressive topics. Often this is a shift from where we were before, and the other partner is often not at the same place. So I've found that in this area, very few couples are actually at this same stage at the same time - unless they actually met in this environment (and this has happened. There has been at least one marriage where the couple met thru NCN). =================================================== Ed. I have seen the same situation many times as well. Luckily, we are close enough to develop together. 20 Sep 2003 @ 08:01 by martha : right on craig I find the only frustrating part of spiritual development is that some of the ones we love seem to get left behind as one continues their searching. Also to find others to talk about all this with is quite limited. When I tell people (which I rarely do now) that I have been on a spiritual quest for over thirty years they look at me very strange and some ask me what religion I am. hahahaha =========================================================== Ed. 'tis like running a marathon; the field gets drawn out over time, but we are all heading for the same place.
