Do Muslim jihadists hate us, as many leftists suggest, because of our imperialist sins, or as some rightests do, because of our superior way of life and political culture for which they envy us?


Although I consider that there is something in the latter and not much to the former explanation--Lawrence Auster, reports on the insights of Mary Habeck, who suggests that "the key to jihadist ideology and strategy" has to do mainly with the internal logic of belief in political Islam, not with what non-Muslims have done or not done to Muslims.
