The movie was released on DVD on January 9, 2007.

The Mike Judge film, Idiocracy, has had one of the weirdest theatrical releases ever. According to Cinematical, "Twentieth Century Fox considered postponing the release indefinitely, then decided at the last minute to give the film an extremely limited run in only six U.S. cities, which did not include New York. The studio did not publicize the movie one bit: no trailers, no ads, and only two stills from 2004 that everyone on the internet used in their online reviews. Overall, the film did only moderate business after its Sept. 1 release, and quickly faded from the public eye."  More >

...and this is the recording of the time:

World's top climate scientists issue their strongest warning
The United Nations (UN) climate panel issued its strongest warning yet on Friday that human activities are heating the planet, adding pressure on governments to do more to combat accelerating global warming.

"February 2, 2007 may be remembered as the day the question mark was removed from whether people are to blame for climate change," Achim Steiner, the head of the UN Environment Programme, told a news conference. He urged governments to inject more momentum into stalled talks on long-term cuts in emissions. Greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere have not been higher in 650000 years.

"We are in a sense doing things that have not happened in 650000 years, based on the scientific evidence," Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, told a news conference.

Frank Zak has created a charming and entertaining magical cards routine around the famed Thomas Gainsborough Blue Boy painting:

A card is selected and returned to the deck. You then display four postcards, each depicting Gainsborough's The Blue Boy painting. You explain that one of them is a forgery as the spectators immediately spot the obvious and amusing fake. The postcards are turned over to show Gainsborough painted a back to Blue Boy but no one ever noticed because it was always kept framed. For the finale a postcard that was placed aside on an impromptu easel is revealed with The Blue Boy now holding the selected card. Can be repeated four times with different cards.  More >

Well, it happened again !!! Allright everybody, nobody moves, what is going on ? It seems some of us are meeting all over the planet.

Manifestation, virtual world becoming reality, time to rally the troops, whatever you want to call it, it is great !

Scotty is in Paris, no not Texas, France, gay Paris, grey Paris.
We had a lovely lunch and talk nonstop all afternoon, both of us feeling like we knew each other forever, not just from the net, I think it is more like a soul connection, definitely one from the heart one.

A lovely lady, a beautifull soul, Merci Chris.

A bientot.... Until we meet again  More >
