Being incapable of conjugating the verb "to be," we conjugate instead the verb "to have." But as the verb "to have" can lead us nowhere, for nothing lasting can be acquired, we seek indefinitely "to have more." Such is the source of our enslavement.
---Robert Linssen
Can we wash each cup or bowl as if we were bathing a newborn baby Buddha?

The secret of the mountains is that the moutains simply exist, as I do myself: the mountains exist simply, which I do not. The mountains have no "meaning," they ARE meaning; the mountains ARE. The sun is round. I ring with life, and the mountains ring, and when I can hear it, there is a ringing that we share. I understand all this, not in my mind but in my heart, knowing how meaningless it is to try to capture what cannot be expressed, knowing that mere words will remain when I read it all again, another day.
---Peter Matthiessen
I'm glad, I say, I'm no longer editing the Logs for NCN's splash page...because this Log would cause me dilemma. Entry after interesting entry is Anonymous. I wonder why.
Additionally, concern is registered from time to time that members change their names, or resign and then reenter with another identity, thus confusing people as to who is who. Is this some death/rebirth wish?
Are these signs of what the new civilization will be like? Will people hide? Will we go about incognito? Will there be an even more faceless crowd as we make way through day-to-day?
The electronic painting illustrating this story is called Anonymous Silence (2004) by Sabin Corneliu Buraga.

Yes I am questioning the identity thing but it did bring up a question does truth need an identity?
I mean if its true does it matter who said it? well no and yes ... if Hitler said a truth would it matter yet to many it would so do we value identity more than truth. is truth identity? it is a puzzle.
I mean are we now going to question and not trust so much that we ask if 2 + 2 = 4?.
Oh as well I've recieved so many complaints about my writing style that I suppose I will have to conform to the concensus and write like everybody else. I mean really. Is there no room for individuality?
anyway
whatever

Being that most everyone you meet on the net has a screen name, not thier real name, I dont see how it matters who is who. Just go by the post, does it entertain you, or make you think, or something else? That to me is the reason to post an oppinion or comment, who cares really who said it, when its what was said that was important to that poster. Does knowing who made a post somehow validate that post? If someone in a crowd yelled out fire would it be less of a warning because we dont know who said it? Like we are compeled to listen to name brands of info? Sure nobodys been saying stuff for years, and then someone listens, years later, because it was said by a known famose person. lol.
