GLOBAL WASTE MONITORING

I suspect a good use of satellite monitoring would be to monitor
global waste production, transport and treatment and processing.
This doesn't seem to be currently being done on any global scale.
In order to address the problems of waste we have to be able to monitor
them to some degree though.
