Your chart there shows a direct corelation to the solar output during that time period. As well the solar minimum we are now in is reflected in the recent global temp leveling off and for the last few years global temps have droped. What I found significant though was the correlation with population growth. Its rather direct. 13 Nov 2009 @ 21:03 by swanny @70.65.9.110 : Compounding It may thus be a compounding of all the factors involved which means the lessening of solar max might assist somewhat in a reduction not sure what percentage though but the trend seems to be one of general increase at least over the last 2000 years. more recent reports say the warming is higher than its been in 200000 years. though it would be difficult to assess the accuracy of that with to much certainty. 13 Nov 2009 @ 21:16 by mortimer : ya its warming up all right With all those politicians making all that hot air. ;} significant correlation with political growth.
