Well if the systems of the day or prior, were not designed to be sustainable then how can they "be" sustainable and if ones is talking sustainability then one has to perhaps quantify and qualify sustainable for how long, 4 years (election cycle), 7 generations (native doctrine), indefinitely ( perhaps not possible) and for how many people, life forms etc.., It makes a difference after all and sustainable at what standard or quality of life, factors in as well and how well can that sustainability integrity and instructions be maintained and transmitted across the successive generations.
It would seem thus one could build a whole school of thoughts and doctrine around the concept of such then and perhaps it would vary against each thing it was to be applied to. The only thing with a kind of inherent and built in sustainability seems to be the natural systems and cycle which have billions and millions of years of time testing behind them.

well rather than risk compounding and making worse the current global mess by ruminating on whats wrong.... perhaps a change of focus and tone on how as to reach a different and more constructive preference.

well all kibbutzing aside , i have yet to hear a clear definition of what the actual $ problem is. sure greed and economies of scale and living beyond means and disconnects between accounts and real world and real time and class and income disparities.. and exorbitant real estate. but really it sounds like the real problem or problems go untouched and thus i don't know how a thing can be fixed if whats wrong with it is not known. so in 100 words or less define the problem please....

About Understanding
I suppose at heart, we or many, don't want to understand others cause there's probably things they or some of them are dealing with that we would find troublesome and or offensive and to then, we don't want others to really understand ourselves, cause we want to protect or spare them perhaps from the hurts and pains and anguishes and sorrow, we have know in our lives.
So there and here we each deep down dwell, alone on our islands of loneliness and despair, afraid to build bridges and afraid to accept bridges to ourselves and here in this ocean of pathos perhaps 7 billion islands float.
Yet we thus are the same are we not, in that way and can in that sameness of realizing our common fear then walla , we have a or one common bridge. Ah yes most true.
But what shall and will we put on that common bridge? Our shame, our hate, our anger, our pain, our perversions? nay perhaps not, but let us instead, upon this bridge of our common fears, unroll a soft and warm blanket of compassion and mutual mercy for one and other, whereupon we might forgive, heal and soothe our hidden misgivings and sins and perhaps then transform ourselves and even our world.
These islands of pretense and charade grow most tiresome and tedious after all after a time aye?

Well Canada isn't the center of the universe and not even the galaxy ie milky way (although now they're saying we were actually part of the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy and they're now joining ....). but oh back to Canada, well we're not even that big a player on the Earth, 3rd rock .... so not sure how people figure Canada's laws apply or can apply elsewhere...not ours or the Canadian courts jurisdiction folks....... i mean try smoking medical marijuana in some states in the US and be sure to write from the big house and hope you're out in a couple decades.

Hey anyway if you're in an honest relationship what is it?.... about the money ..and stuff..? or the value of the love and affection and intimacy and intersupport.. yes...so.... get your priorities straight..... my X took everything and im glad she and its gone... and would not take or want it or her back for nothing . .....unless perhaps ....nah not even then....marriage .... true marriage is a mutual state of minds and hearts..and souls.. a mutuality of sorts ... the paperwork is just more stuff..... the kids though... they are the fruits and blessings of a good and lawful union.... did you not know about capacitation.... that where the woman's body conditions the sperm .... so its not first past the post ... that creates the newborn.... but the one best conditioned and capacitated by interaction inside the woman's body after intercourse.....

well a study using only 30 people isn't terribly "statistically significant" but then too considering that it is said that 1 billion people or more world wide use the internet daily for about an 1 hour or more than there must be something to the concept..... caught and stuck to the global web of life..... well done.... did you know that Vince Cerf internet guru and grandfather was perhaps designing for 1 trillion variables or ips addresses and it still wasn't enough. no wonder it works like burnt toast some times.
