18 Jul 2004 @ 14:37, by celestial Who do you want for president? INTRODUCING the NEW GOVERNORS ov the U.S.A.! Ages 10 and up may nominate. QUALIFICATIONS to nominate: U must be an American Citizen, Be able to read and write, (about age 10 & up) U DON'T have to Be a REGISTERED VOTER, X-convicts may nominate, Convicts may nominate also. It is quite obvious to just about everybody in the United States of America (USA) and the world that the present structure of the government of the USA is failing. Two things must be changed in order for the USA to remain viable in the world today and in the future; the office of president and the criminal justice system (I'll cover the second issue in my next log). There is just too much responsibility (power) for one person to grapple with, considering all of the issues, therefore, it should be evident that it is time to restructure the office of president; one individual can too easily make a mistake. It should be divided into three governorships. Each office would be titled "Governor - Position # 1," "Governor - Position # 2," "Governor - Position # 3." Each "governor" would/could have a running mate. Each position would have assigned responsibilities with "Position # 1" having to deal with the most important responsibilities. Each position could have a staggered voting date. All of this is variable; WE DECIDE how to do it. "Position # 1" to be voted and filled in the year 2004. "Position # 2" to be voted and filled in the year 2006. "Position # 3" to be voted and filled in the year 2008. In the year 2010, and thereafter, "Position # 3" would be the only election conducted as the person in the # 3 position automatically promotes to the # 2 position and the person in the # 2 position automatically promotes to the # 1 position; it would be kind of like an apprenticeship program! All positions would still be subject to impeachment. With such a program in place even an impeachment wouldn't cripple the government. One minor problem exists with the implementation of this program of elections and that is the individual replaced in the year 2010 will have served six years. Perhaps in the election year of 2006 a former president could be installed, or the person elected in 2004 be allowed to serve six years one time only. The variables are many for a solution to this ‘glitch' of a problem but I think it can be solved by "we the people." I have faith in you. This transition can be accomplished smoothly with very little (if any) "collateral damage." Such a structure would reduce overall stress for everybody which will produce exciting new possibilities for every individual on the earth, from top to bottom, adult to child! I offer this solution in the interest of world peace. Perhaps others can take it and refine it or come up with something better but whatever you do, you need to discuss it now, reach a consensus and approach Congress about it. FAIR WARNING; Failure to reach a solution will usher in the era of "Big Brother" in the year 2005. The era of "president" needs to come to an end. TRIUNE TRIBUNE is the wave of the future. The history of America is in the making. It was, it is, it always will be the Government of Diversity (G.o.D.) but only if "we the people" act decisively NOW. "IN GOD WE TRUST" with liberty and justice for all.
