Category: Dreams 5 comments 11 Oct 2007 @ 20:39 by bushman : Hmm,Time is a human construct, so my perception of your dream, if time is to be accelerated then most humans will be on Meth anphetamines and or coffee or sodas and lots of sugar, or maybe everyone born now has ADDH. Only the human perception of time can be accelerated, unless it was more symbolic as meanning the speed of Earth around the Sun gets accelerated, or the Sun around the galactic core is getting accelerated or the galixy will be accelerating on its trajectory thru the Universe. Maybe thats what the Bible means about the stars falling from heaven in the end times. 12 Oct 2007 @ 07:58 by celestial : Yes Clocks, and ways to measure time, are human inventions but time affects everything. Drugs, too, are a distinct possibility. I wouldn't put it past big business to put drugs in the peoples food either so they can get more work out of everybody! Another possibility is maybe we're going to start slowing down so it appears everything is speeding up! If the earth were to accelerate, it would move out, away from the Sun, from its present path, into a different orbit. When our Sun becomes a red giant, and its gravity lessens, then the earth would definitely change its orbit, as well as the other planets. If it were to pass through the asteroid belt, then there would be many falling stars! But even the asteroid belt would change orbit so I don't see it happening like that. I analyze my dreams, especially when they are out of the ordinary. I try to anticipate every angle but I'm human, so can't possibly do that. When the pendulum changes direction, it is temporarily "weightless" and only happens after so many millenniums. During that period of weightlessness, a very slight shift of atoms (solar systems) could take place. If it takes place, I expect our night sky to change noticeably (to those who are astronomers and star-gazers). I wish I had a lot more time to read as I'm unfamiliar with the work by Carl Calleman (The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness) so I'm not qualified to comment on his work but I have put it on my reading list.
