Phoenix Rising

From the ashes of a fallen angels tears,
Rises the Phoenix from the blackened soot of despair.
Reborn with the sun each emerging day
To scorch the sky in flaming embers
Thus, love is found again in the silent dawning

The frigid swirling waters that rain lost hope
In their icy spires will take not the last breath
For while there is a beating heart
There will be a rising, glowing heat
Where will secret tragedy reign then?

That flaming siren of the morning
Soars the earth sending illumination
For will there be blindness from the light?
Or ignorance in the tangible blackness?
Let the heart decide and leave the mind behind.
