On The Wings of Hope

On the wings of hope we live
That none walk in shadow’s path
Or wander in the lonely bracken
May we beckon with soft whispers

Let us now listen to lifted song
So we will find each other
Melodies of your song and mine
Will reach through the blackest night

On the wings of hope’s gift
We soar upon the wind-blown clouds
Souls unbound by earthly care
To shine midst our weary hearts

For those that seek oneness within
Let us lower the celestial ladder
Bring them up to the rarified air
Let them fly to the steps of light
