I have to look at this sort of thing with an accepting eye, but sometimes...it is very distracting!
From The Flames
Will I be sent to fiery madness?
For it would be easier than this.
Your hand reaches from the flame
The blasting furnace blinds me
Attracted to your brashness
Like the sun god’s burning kiss
My soul you have come to claim
Prisoner of your eyes set me free
I hunger to drink the molten fire
While you walk upon glowing coals
I see you cannot flee the burning light
Trapped together ‘tween time and space
Exceeding far beyond normal desire
This is the fate of joining souls
Reaching energies meld and ignite
Saved only by love’s own grace
