31 Oct 2004 @ 05:52 by vaxen : heh heh! 31 Oct 2004 @ 06:06 by skookum : I adore black cats.. had a beautiful one named Maynard.. when I was young. 31 Oct 2004 @ 07:25 by vaxen : Yeah,,, me too. Had a really beautiful one in the Sinai desert. I called him 'Moonshadow.' We used to dance on the dunes underneith the full moon and the Beduin thought that I was a Witch, a Sorcerer. Of course I was/am but... He was so telepathic. There would be times when I'd go off, with him, just walking the wadi's and night would fall. There the night is so intense and dark that you ca'nt see your hand an inch from your face! I did'nt use flashlights or things like that, was totally native and hidden, so... I relied on Moonshadow to get me back to camp. He'd walk about ten paces in front of me and call to me directing me around obstacles that I might not sense. He always got me back to my camp safely. Always. When I was taken as a spy and sent to 'Abu Rhodes,' on the Suez, for 'torture and questioning,' I had to leave him...it was the saddest day of my life. His memory got me through a lot. 31 Oct 2004 @ 07:47 by skookum : they are often our spiritual and healing companions. Sad to leave a friend like that. 1 Nov 2004 @ 17:00 by astrid : ....makes me cry..... .....bringing back (memories of) a few beloved black Kiddies ( but just like skookum said; Spirit&Healing Companions) that I didn't understand to care for, very well...ohhhh, my sweetest little Alobar and Nelson....(among others!....) how can I ever find redemption????? If only I could UN-do "Things"!!!.... 1 Nov 2004 @ 18:01 by skookum : you are fogiven.. I am sure of it. animals.. just seem to understand 2 Nov 2004 @ 00:49 by astrid : Thank you, for your comfort.I am sure you are right too!.... I just have such a hard time to forgive myself for the stupidity and cowardness I allowed to hurt these wonderful Little Beings with such huge Loving Hearts/Souls! (What a lesson!.....)
