No need to Fear


Trials of the flesh sear me
Sharpening my hollow mind

With a dulling wish for sleep
The pain is gone for now
In that solace of warmth
I wrap your spirit around me
As I cling to your strength
Your arms enfold me firmly

Another day and it is my turn
To hold you close to me
A spinning back and forth
Your need, my need, our need
Embracing the pains, the joys
No need to fear the letting go
We are part of that gentle peace
That joins all troubled souls

I am going to bed... took some pain meds a bit ago.. went outside and looked at the stars..
a very long shooting star flew across the sky
