THE FOREST GREEN: Night into the Dream

Night into the Dream

I used to think I was strong

Until that day you held me
I think you knew all along
That you could set me free

Freedom cries into the night
Taking both our souls to flight
To flight
To flight
Into the night

My ego crying for its rights
While my heart sat all alone
So many sad and lonely nights
Tried to turn my soul to stone

Let me weakly come to you
Do with me what you fantasize
Forever yours, but you always knew
By my hungry arms and urgent sighs

Freedom cries into the night
Our souls have found the light
The light
The light
Into the night

...always sound like you're either missing your other half or you've found it.
Maybe you're working through something?
Poetry is healing for that, I know...

Beautiful and emotive poem, I love it! And the pic is wonderful, it gives me a feeling of nostalgia.
