A poem...for a warm evening

Midsummer's Eve

Midsummer's Eve, her warm embrace
To spin the mind in lover's grace
Music quickens the fairy dance
The meadow lays in moonlit glow
Yon fairy ring of stone to see
Twining fleur and rose demure
Waft dreamy scents upon the air
Softly humming drifting now
A midnight lullaby of song
It will cradle her eternally
Her crystalline soul is ne'er lost
Where she rests the fairies know
Moon's shining light awakens her
The stones grow warm tonight
