THE FOREST GREEN: Tears

yeah... and it isn't even raining...;-)

Tears

Tears, those cosmic drops of joy and suffering
They come from the ocean originally you know
The sun heats up the water
The water evaporates
The clouds are formed
We, come in where the clouds are
They rain on our parades
our funerals, weddings, christenings
And we wipe surreptitiously, hoping
and hoping and hoping
Hoping something anyway
Hoping something to come
Hoping we are wrong
or right
In the end
We realize
They are just water
And we are the ocean
