THE FOREST GREEN: Dreams...What are they?

I have some ideas...would love to hear yours.

I have of late been having some interesting dreams. It is a good sign in my opinion that I have been. I have severe sleep apnea and having dreams that are vivid enough to remember indicates that I am having dream cycles approaching normalcy. I sleep with a machine and all, but nonetheless, I feel sometimes I do not dream state cycle properly.

I have been having some interesting quasi repetitive dreams. I see them as a jump off point for a nice story that is forming inside my head. It certainly is imaginative. If our dreams are part of our subconscious, why not utilize them.

Sometimes a dream is just a dream. A mishmash of visuals and feelings that help us burn off the residue of our day so we can start fresh the next day. Sometimes, though, they can be prophetic, inspiring, or terrifying. I am grateful that there is rarely scary stuff in my dreams.

Dream dictionaries should only be used as a general guide. We cannot expect all symbolism to be the same as someone else. Perhaps, understanding ourselves is the secret. Writing them down is another thing. yeah.... I need to do that.

Here are a few links to get you going.

of a movie watched or a book read, shortly before bedtime, but maybe relevent details replaced or added from the subconcious to jibe with ones current or past or future situation. Sometimes extremely prescient, but again with relevent details mixed with or replaced by more intimate places persons or things to the dreamer. At least that is my experience...

It can be very hard to sort out the releasing of non essential 'stuff' and something that might be relevant in your dream.
