Sweet Universe:
A Prayer for the Earth
Sweet universe, home of infinite hope and love
Gather me the flowers of peace for the world
Let that sacred beauty rise in our minds
and bring with it our homecoming
The darkness gathers so tightly now around us
Choking off the voices raised in song
It creeps within the shadows we ignore
Leaving pain in the dust that remains
Universe, let your strength be our strength
Open our vision to the limitless power
That oneness and certainty can bring
That we rise from the dust beneath us
May we move as one upon the wheat fields
The wind is the truth and we the messenger
For grain is good and there is no fear
The fire may burn, but the light remains
The darkness is afraid
And we are free
Thank you
