I am paying attention...




Just in Case


In this little room in my head I sit
gazing at the moving lights
the sounds are lost in the flashes
stepping back I notice the paint peeling
the flowers drooping
the fish need feeding again
where are my glasses?
oh yes, now I remember
time to wake up and open a window
remove the headphones
take a deep breath
I am alive
better act like it
just in case

When you step out?

Some say that three feet...
Will do just fine.
Others say that...
It's best to go out the top.

Flowers droop,
Fishies get fed,
Thoughts of sugar plums,
Dance in heads.

I injured my knee before last Christmas.. and it was pretty much out of action until a month or so ago.
So I am a bit behind my work.. the kiddies are helping.. bless them every one!

as the house gets cleaner.. I feel happier.. ok so I am shallow lol ..

I get down when my house is messy and disorganized.
