jazz festival this weekend.. it rocked!

we are dancing

by marissa a spencer

we are dancing

gliding like silk across the floor

twirling, floating

the mind slides into the song

soft music fills up the night

it's you and me together,

and we will make it right

we are dancing, moving as if one

our hearts melt into the melody

night blocks out the sun

twirling, floating

like silk across the floor

our forms turn into light

who can ask for more?
