My daughter just graduated from Jr college with distinction with a double major of Biology and Chemistry...she goes to the state college next fall. My 15 year old son got straight A's .. well he did get a B in PE... not really worried about that one lol
My 12 year old 'graduated' sixth grade... at his GATE school with all A's.
I am very proud of them obviously. My 15 year old had been having serious bouts of depression, school anxiety and difficulty focusing. He was on anti depressants and ADHD meds for a few years. His wise Psychiatrist got him off of all those meds over a year ago. I decided to quit work a few years ago to help him.
He needed my support at home, so I quit to be there for him. It was the best decision I could have made. Sometimes....we need each other more than anything else.
