Beyond

They flew beyond the stardust rings
With trailing bits of sparkling dust
Swinging by where the quasar sings
Riding on the space wind’s gust

Soul caravans of floating spheres
Gather by the black-hole sea
To catapult with godly cheers
Returning to life’s jubilee

Orion’s children follow in sync
Playing dodge ball with the sun
Space travel isn’t what you think
You end where you’ve begun
