Inspiring and Uniting Enemies on a Shared Vision0 comments

Is it possible to inspire and unite enemies on a shared vision? Once inspired, I believe the means (and magic) can appear... and obstacles disappear. "Imagination is more important than knowledge" according to Einstein.

Such inspiration usually comes from crisis. Can we collectively choose a more elegant, less painful path?

Most successful organizations rely on a mission/vision/values statement.
Is it time for nations and partnerships to create such?
The process alone could inspire and unite people like never before...
if powered BY THE PEOPLE
and leads to an empowered tactical plan (like a business plan).

Left-brain drivers like missions.
Right-brain creatives love visions.
Passionate seekers embrace values.
Synergized, they can transcend differences and weave dimensions
(i.e. transmute our exhausted dominator paradigm to an energized partnership paradigm... with the power of intention, heart, and action)

A rather idealistic approach is in [link]
A more grounded approach is in [link]

Is this a path to peace, power, and fulfillment?

Is our current lack of mission/vision/values statements a cause of our chaos?

Are you willing ponder this?

Shine thy good, America

Where has our light gone, America?
Where has our good gone?
IS it gone?
Or just changing?

What do we seek?
What do we long for?

Are we hurting?
Are YOU hurting?

Will we choose the higher path?
The harder path?

Or will we succomb to blame, fear, and despair?

What IS the higher path?
Does it HAVE to be harder?

Are we willing to question?
Everything we've believed?

If so...
Some possibilities are in WeNeedaDream.org
Some tools are in Center for Nonviolent Communication
Some hidden history re the Constitution is in the attached paper.
Some background re the higher purpose of this nation is in:

America's Secret Destiny

Forgotten Founders

Tree of Peace and Legend of the Peacemaker

Motivating Speech for the Declaration of Independence

And some inspiration is below:

Disney...
"If you can dream it, you can do it"

Jesus…
"Love your enemies.
Do good to those who hate you"

Lincoln…
"Am I not destroying my enemies
when I make friends of them?"

Martin Luther King…
"Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend"

Gandhi…
"Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat,
for it is momentary."

Franklin…
"Search others for their virtues,
thyself for thy vices."

Einstein…
"The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them."

Buddha…
"Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love"

Black Elk…
"There can never be peace between nations
until there is first known that true peace
which is within the souls of men."

Jewish proverb…
"Listen to your enemy, for God is talking"

Pogo…
"We have met the enemy, and he is us"

Ancient wisdom…
"Our biggest problems are our biggest opportunities"

John F. Kennedy...
"And so, my fellow Americans:
ask not what your country can do for you,
ask what you can do for your country.
My fellow citizens of the world:
ask not what America will do for you,
but what together we can do for the freedom of man."

I wish to follow my "Easter Tears" poem with an "Easter Hope" poem. It is part of a dream and quest that emerged out of my despair. The complete dream will be unveiled in a new website later this month.

While initially targetting a single nation, it is intended to help our entire world transmute our worst nightmares into the dream of all time.

May it give you hope,
love,
and resurrection.  More >

I write on this Easter Sunday to share a poem I wrote over the last two years out of despair... for the errors of myself... and my beloved America.

While it is written from a "we" perspective to a single nation, it represents the cries of my many "selves" to many "selves" of my America.

May you absorb it with your heart.  More >
