Shine thy good, America

Where has our light gone, America?
Where has our good gone?
IS it gone?
Or just changing?

What do we seek?
What do we long for?

Are we hurting?
Are YOU hurting?

Will we choose the higher path?
The harder path?

Or will we succomb to blame, fear, and despair?

What IS the higher path?
Does it HAVE to be harder?

Are we willing to question?
Everything we've believed?

If so...
Some possibilities are in WeNeedaDream.org
Some tools are in Center for Nonviolent Communication
Some hidden history re the Constitution is in the attached paper.
Some background re the higher purpose of this nation is in:

Something that helped me connect with the soul of America and its higher purpose was a personal {link:http://madisonmiracles.org/FreedomPilgrimage.htm|pilgrimage to its birthplaces}. This was not an ordinary tourist trip. This was a moving meditation... connecting deeply with the people, places, and energy that founded this experiment in democracy... and with what's needed now to heal and transmute its wounds and shadow. Highlites: being with the founders in Liberty Hall on the eve of Independence Day; walking alone all night in DC; meditating alone at dawn of July 4th on the spot Dr. King gave his "I Have a Dream" speech.

We now need a new dream... a higher dream... a co-created dream... weaving mortal and divine.

Let freedom truly ring.

I attended a rally with Barack Obama Tuesday (with 20,000 others). While I don't expect him to be the savior many hope for, I felt more sincerity, integrity, and possibility than the other candidates. I wrote this to him...

Senator,

I heard many powerfully positive words in your Tuesday speech in Madison... e.g. hope, inspire, unite, higher purpose, grassroots, change we can believe in, yes we can.
I was relieved by the absence of negative words and attack (that dominate so many campaign speeches).
I sensed sincerity and commitment... i.e. to walk your talk, walk a higher path, and lead others to such a path.
I felt grateful and hopeful (the first time I've felt such with a presidential candidate in my 56 years).

I offer you tools and miracles... to empower your walk... and enhance your talk.

1) Nonviolent Communication
I've seen this process transmute "impossible" conflicts into win-win harmony.

2) America's Higher Purpose
Few Americans are aware of the higher (and spiritual) purpose behind the founding of this nation. YOU could champion a return to this purpose. More info in the attached paper.

3) Mission/Vision/Values for America
If created by a grassroots process, this could inspire, unite, and empower ALL Americans like never before.

4) WeNeedaDream.org
Offers many ideas to unite and inspire enemies on a shared vision, a higher purpose, a new American Dream... towards Heaven on Earth.

Yes we can,
