The beginning of all things. The first. The whole. The all of one. Assertive and self guided, these persons give a good push to whatever project they are associated. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One persons to be attentive to details or put the finishing touches on things.

Wind
----

Breath of spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seed or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations. Wind persons make great orators and spread the word of spiritual inspiration as if carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Greetings Marissa. These are descriptions of the current Mayan day according to the Tzolkin calendar. Details, or at least some of them, are way back in the first post, and also in the side bar in the top right hand side of my blog page. Sometimes when an event strikes me as being particularly relevant to the days entries I will mention it in a comment. I would like other people to do that as well. For example ...

One of the things that I've heard quite a bit about today related to communications (a main theme of wind days) is Al Jazeera office shut down in Iraq.

Bushy was offline due to storms...until 3 this afternoon..

and I did a fair amount of talking to a friend online today.. rather more than usual.

there has been lots of spamming on ncn in the logs. I changed my log setting so that my log is still public but only NCN members can comment. Hopefully that will stop the spam (twice) i got today.

It would be nice to have filtering capabilities. I wonder if this is spam or if somebody is trying to disrupt one of my communication channels. Think I might need to put the comment input into members only.
