Weclome to this New Civilization Network-hosted news log, another place intended to confuse you to enlightment.

I think I'll use this space to communicate my philosophical reguards of learning and living.

First, I think this life is worthless if we don't accept what we have: a potential for creative and supportive involvement. I see that embodied by New Civiliazation Network's overt purposes, bringing around a reasonable and sustainable existence for the 'ecocosmic noosphere' in supporting communication and beautification in the space of our interpersonal and worldly relations; there is this living hyperorganism named humanity, sentiently juxtaposed within a breathing&evolving planetary life force, all of us in all: Gaia.

Second, I have a few questions I hope you may comment upon.

Given a world entailed by either exclusive materialism or extreme transcendentalism (i.e. either that physical logic alone defines all real events or that an omnipotent will beyond physical logic defines all real events,) what is the meaningful _point_?

If we accept the directly beheld actualities of essence that must charitably be considered transcendentally material, such as intended actions occuring in living systems, then would it not be more reasonable to assert that a magical will pervades living systems, those connections of intentional involvement that denote all real events?

Third, I have a disclaimer on my use of the word magical, material, and transcendental. I refer you to Paradigm Shifts and Aeonics. This contains how I use these words, and further at this document's host's page, the Deoxyribonucleic Autonomous Zone you will find numerous articles which I support and which probably in the back of my mind somewhere are helping support my own articulations.

In a last note for this article, I hope you will enJOY what I will convey here and what I will express here. If you were struck curious by what I had to say, you can also visit another project, meaningful anonymous which does not feel of FREEDOM as much as the NCN, but some of my writings are there. And know the character and content of my writings will shift eventually/inevitably, because I haven't stopped changing since I knew thIS was happening to me: life! Yipeee! I'm also along for the ride!!

experience!

Is the exact point of balance between the purely objective and the so-called spiritual : us, humanity, both physical containers and subjective vehicles of...essence (Self)?
:-) Welcome to the Logs!...

21 Aug 2004 @ 06:38 by nednednerb : i think closely so :)
Hmmm... interesting.... (and thank you Shawa!)

Coming to my mind is the idea that the point of balance is to be found not in a recollection of exclusive opposites, as in "some parts of us are physical energy and some of those parts are under spiritual command," but instead this meaningful point may be the juncture of the vessel being essentially matter in throes of sentience, that every objective calling forth may appropriately be considered an expression of or housing for the ecosystem of spirits.

I feel you're very close to what I meant, but also know I didn't quite know and hence wanted to ask the question, yet I also have my own inclination. My own inclination is to affirm anything objective as adjunct and receptive to the purposes of communication, what I see expressed in many forms as the purpose of any spirit.

When I read what you wrote again, I think what you said is perfect because you used the words "exact point." What is exact? A mere fact or object, such as a number stored on paper from a machine that counted photons? Or is the concrete yet mere perception of that machine and number's existence in someone's mind more an instant of something worthy of being deemed "exact"?

Thanks Shawa!

21 Aug 2004 @ 07:45 by shawa : "Exact"
I mean "exact" in terms of the perceiving Self, not in terms of numbers, yes.
You say :
"Coming to my mind is the idea that the point of balance is to be found not in a recollection of exclusive opposites, as in "some parts of us are physical energy and some of those parts are under spiritual command," but instead this meaningful point may be the juncture of the vessel being essentially matter in throes of sentience, that every objective calling forth may appropriately be considered an expression of or housing for the ecosystem of spirits."

"Exactly" my point too. IN-stead of seeing a hierarchical scale, the figure that comes to mind is a triangle, where all points form part of the same figure, non-hierarchically (not "above/below" - not superior/inferior), but equally important in (re)-producing (as in "echoing") the MEANING of the figure.
:-) Thanks to you, t´was an interesting read.

21 Aug 2004 @ 11:43 by spiritseek : I see
if you take the two triangles used for "as above as below" and place them sideways you get equality. My point is everything is as it should be and in equal measure or in balance. I feel without this balance there wouldn't be a 3rd dimension or life as we know it.

21 Aug 2004 @ 16:53 by nednednerb : wow!
I'm so glad I found this place! Thank you two for affirming my faith in the quality of people on the internet!

Thank you!!!!
