As a new kind of art form, blogging allows one to express oneself in a unique, enjoyable and interactive way that is still changing evolving.
I have so many works in progress at the moment and find that I'm bein Hazy, Crazy and Lazy about posting them but just have to put this one up because I'm done procrastinatin' about it!!!
Stories about how things could be are a boost to the imagination and help people decide what is important to work on in the here and now. They can function as blueprints, warnings or exhortations as well as a reminder that things will keep changing and be different, which is always a good lesson for any part of life.
Well, Blogging for me has become a way of expressing thoughts, ideas and creativity in a fun, useful and intuitive way. It also allows for a change in perception and ways of looking at life and events.
I am trying to create a space to share ideas that foster greater community building, eco-awareness, positive solutions and other unusual things, events, happenings, trends and news.
When, I first started posting, it would mostly be information gleaned from other places and re-posted but I am now finding that much of my work is now my own writing with occasional posts that include other information and links that may be relevant.
Also, it is just recently that I have access to a digital camera that allows images and photo's to be included and gives an added deeper dimension to the blog, and as time goes by the speed and technology develops and the process continues to become more intuitive and constructive.
As a blog writer, I would like to see:
*More Feedback and responses
*Ideas for new articles
*constructive criticism, reaction, feedback
*'thank you' comments, and why readers liked their post
*requests for future posts on specific subjects
*foundation articles: posts that writers can build on, on their own blogs
*reading lists/aggregations of material on specific, leading-edge subjects that writers can use as resource material
*wonderful examples of writing of a particular genre, that they can learn from
*comments that engender lively discussion
*guidance on how to write in the strange world of weblogs
