Thanks for the encouragment. 12 Nov 2004 @ 17:29 by ov : tikiwiki This looks intriquing lugon, lots of features there. What is your connection with tikiwiki? How long has this software been out on the net? There is a group in Vancouver that I've recently hooked up with, but I think they need some better software. www.WorkLessParty.org has some good people, they do things, they have a website, but the interactive area seems week. Mainly it is a movable type blog found under the 'study circles' menu item (the link I've given takes you there direct). But it looks like this tikiwiki could provide a better service. Please tell me some more. 12 Nov 2004 @ 18:45 by lu @80.58.19.44 : tikiwiki I asked in my LUG and tikiwiki is not perfect - ugly code inside, as a friend put it. But it's said to work, it's packed with features, and it's what Josef uses at [link] and his "coop" thing. There was a review of different wiki-things at linuxtoday a few days ago. Can't find it right now. I'm by no means an expert. But when I look at things then I can tell others. Or ask. It's free software so it's a matter of trying it out, I guess. 12 Nov 2004 @ 19:47 by ov : Lots of leads Thanks for the portal Lugon. There is a lot of sophisticated software that is waiting to be used here. www.apc.org sounds interesting as does cc.tikiwiki.org and lots of others. Wow, there has been so much great stuff coming to fruition in the last couple of years. 12 Nov 2004 @ 20:06 by lugon @80.58.19.44 : review on wikis Here's a review of wikis. Oh, and this, too.
