Worldchanging.org's "Beyond Relief" article is extremely good stuff.

I've offered my two cents by giving a few links about solaroof, oneVillage, solarcooking, simputer, and other things.

This is overwhelming. It's difficult to get past the shock (even denial) phase.

The people at worldchanging.org are doing a formidable job!

I think it's best to:


  • jot down five things I could do today.
  • do the two that take the shortest time.

Dear L, I think I lost track of you for a while (aside from your always-thoughtful comments to the OSList) so it's so very nice to find you again (well, I guess maybe I've been the one who's been missing! and need to catch up with the articles you've already posted) via your comment to the excellent World Changing site.

Currently my feeling is that nothing I can do or give could be enough; and yet, even not-enough is required of each of us.

Sometimes I get the feeling it's just a hundred people going to the same places. XDD

Anyway - let's make this a better year, learning to work together as we go along, and enjoying every enjoyable second. Or whatever it is that we can possibly do!
