Mothersday brought a nice surprise for me. My article in the long form finally hit the web-streets after a short version had been published a few weeks earlier. The title: Compassion or Ignorance? [link] summing up many years work on making concrete matters, subjects and issues which are not at hand, which are intangible but full of consequences that matter !
My approach is to use agreed upon, common frames of references, sometimes called an embodied covenant using not just words, but maps and models as supersigns.
Why? we have to address issues across scales, from different times, cultures and mind-sets. Easy !? Well maybe check the article..
