It can be painful to learn to love yourself... Speaking the truth from your heart and soul takes the courage and strength of a WARRIOR. We found out we have more courage and strength than we know what to do with... AND we all have it...we just have to find it within ourselves! The number one value and import of my heart and soul is to help others who have the DESIRE to love themselves unconditionally. Learning to love myself has changed my life! I now feel beautiful, proud of myself and I LOVE who I naturally am both inside and out!! Before my wake-up call, I use to be a closed up flower in which I felt worthless, not beautiful and not proud of myself at all. I shut down my own feelings and I put other's feelings first before mine.. Always I loved myself last which created such deep feelings of unworthiness that it wounded and hurt my heart and soul. I will NEVER hurt my heart and soul again. Slowly I opened each petal one by one by 'speaking the truth from my heart and soul' and making very difficult decisions about how I was living my life. I am now a fully opened beautiful flower! I have grown so much since learning to love myself unconditionally. Npw I 'really listen to my heart and soul as they tell me what I should do to live a fulfilled life. *I had to learn to think all over again* - and belive me this was not easy!! Society really has imprinted our heads what we "should think and do". Now I believe God speaks to each of us through our hearts and souls. Since I started to listen to my inner feelings, I get so much happiness, inner peace, and so much love...it is beautiful. I will always speak the truth from my heart and soul.. no matter what. IT WORKS for ME!! I am DONE DONE DONE listening to society...NO MORE... NOW I will be listening to my own soul only. *I learned how to love myself initially by talking and sharing with people online whom I thought of then as strangers and it was they who helped me get through one of the most difficult times of my life. I tried to talk to my primary family and local friends but it was hard since I did not want to have people think I was having problems in my family life and I felt judged. It is sad to say that I thought that way but I did. One day we wake up and see that we are taught by present day society to act certain ways or we are not acceptable/not usable to that society. In my experience this seems to have contributed to a whole lot of other people also feeling and thinking like I did. It was so much safer to talk to an online friends then about the most important things in my life. And that is why I created this forum called Love Ourselves Island." *Each of us at 'Love Ourselves Island' support and mirror one an other honestly and are encouraged to dare to speak our truth right here in front of God and eachother.
