2007-11-01 22:05: comment by a-d on "Is Work Making You Sick? ":
"...Mental health problems are increasing and we need better ways of measuring and preventing them. In particular we need to know how mental health is related to the various emotions people feel when they are at work, studying or engaging in other major activities." ...be done within the confines of Mainstream-Whatever -or by some more enlightened Outside-the-Box working group?

I also want to alert you to this one: http://www.projectcensored.org/censored_2008/

Food for Thought - Is your fish or shrimp going to give you long life or end it?: Biogenesis

Meg Murry, her small brother Charles Wallace, and their mother are in the kitchen for a midnight snack when a most disturbing visitor arrives.

Wild nights are my glory, the unearthly stranger tells them. I just got stuck in a downdraft and blown off course. Let me sit down for a moment, and then Ill be on my way. Speaking ways, by the way, there is such thing as a tesseract.

Megs father had been experimenting with this fifth dimension of time travel when he mysteriously disappeared. Now the time has come for Meg, her friend Calvin, and Charles Wallace to rescue him. But can they outwit the forces of evil they will encounter on their heart-stopping jour through space? -- Madeleine LEngel/Wrinkle in Time

And all the while the progenitors, the Blackwaters (Aka:Douglas), of this madness (Earth as Iatros' Biodome) -- profit insanely then fly on to infect other 'verses.'

Good thing we exist. Guess we sort of counterbalance the over all schema. It's those hidden contracts that give me the willies...

"The Tesseract"

All about Madeleine L'Engle, author of A Wrinkle in Time. We continue to believe that we are larger and more powerful than the system we reside within. And the system just keeps on trying to maintain balance with outbreaks of old or new "diseases" to thin out a population which is threatening the whole by its numbers and behaviors.

The chain? Often, humans alter the natural envionment in some manner. It could be through diverting rivers and planting thousands of acres of monoculture plants that creates conditions, which in turn, fuels a population explosion among rodents. The "disease" that erupts to reduce the rodent population may also be transmitted to humans via a flea or to a bird or animal that eats grasses/seeds infected by the feces or urine of the rodent. If we then --unknowingly-- compound the problem by bringing millions of infected ducks, geese, chickens or pigs together to be sold live to then slaughter and cook to eat to celebrate the New Year, we have a wonderful formula for rasing a pendemic. Ordinarily healthy integrated farming methods may also contribute to the problem if the feces used as nutrient is carrying a new flu.

But I remember the death of the Great Lake in the '60s---dead fish piled up on every inch of beach. We brought her back that time, but now I hear the bacteria level is so high that swimming is banned. I'm over in Athens, buddy---let's get a connection!

How Much Does It Cost To Buy a Light Bulb in Bagdad?: Quite interesting persectives here...

2007-08-20 16:32: comment by a-d on "How Much Does It Cost To Buy a Light Bulb in Bagdad?":
....in "a small package" -as it were. Mort-Gage; death charge = debt that you can never pay back. Equals death.....after you slaved (yourself) to death in & with your own Blood,Sweat & Tears -as the saying goes. Nothing new there.

We are still watching the Soap Opera staged by politicians on our COMMUNITY -Stage. We still GO ALONG by PARTICIPATING the WAY WE ARE TOLD to do!.... so that -guaranteed- NOTHING WILL (EVER -as long as the rigged game rules are kept in place) will change!

Here's the remedy (once again) :"you need to break that mental block in your head which prevents you from treating authority figures in a disrespectful way. Once you've done that, the rest is cake. As soon as a majority are able to look a Priest or Mullah or Rabbi or Cop or President in the eye and tell them to f**k off and die, we'll put an end to the misery imposed on us by monotheism. All it takes is a little backbone and determination not to be ruled by fear any longer. In other words, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, AND YOUR POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD, instead of fooling yourself into thinking that we can all just get along, because we can't. Not when there are 1.5 billion people on this planet, in control of vast amounts of weapons of mass destruction, whose belief system is completely centered around lying, theft, rape, and genocide.
Either we disempower them now by getting politically active and by using aggressive in-your-face tactics which push them into the fringes of society, or they WILL disempower your right to choose, or your children's right to an unmolested brain, in the very near future. It's of the utmost importance that we act BEFORE Cognition altering technologies become a reality, because sticking our head in the sand and tolerating monotheistic ignorance for another generation may well be the last big mistake we ever make."

After all, remember: "From the Divine point of view, there is no Buddhism, no Christianity, no Islam; there is only Unity manifested in the multitude! "

ALMOST ALL "World-Religions" were a compilation of one Master(ful human's )ways of "doing Business" - NOT as "USUAL" I might add!... but quite the opposite!... and then his ways became the "Teachings-Of-The-Day"... In other words: here we had a guy who said FU to the ruling (class & their rigged) game and went their own way instead... not a destructive one, but the opposite; doing Things BETTER for ALL Life forms and THAT was their Forte!
So the Question becomes: "When will WE ever learn...?!...) : )

http://www.geocities.com/peaceoutreach/Welcome.html not really Light Bulbs here, but I bet pretty expensive shit anyway!... all things considered... (You might have to click on "Pollution" once inside the site. Once you find the "right" photos you know which ones I have in mind and what I'm talking about).
More expensive "light bulbs"
http://www.cetmar.org/DOCUMENTACION/dyp/mareas_negras_catastrofes.htm

One of my partners did as you suggested and took them directly to these nonprofit agencies, set them up and got them online.

Because we are next door neighbors with Mexico, a few years ago, our students raised money to place computers in a Juarez University so that we could interact with them. There are so many people, and so
much business to transact, that emotional life plays
only upon the surfacein it there is no depth. To
possess depth you must commune with the Silences. No
more do you find men and women coming for fifty miles,
in wagons, to hear speakers discuss political issues;
no more do you find campmeetings where the preacher
strikes conviction home until thousands are on their
knees crying to God for mercy."
--Little Journeys To the Homes of the Great, Volume 3
Little Journeys To The Homes Of American Statesmen
Elbert Hubbard
Memorial Edition
Chapter Titled "Daniel Webster"

........PUBLISHED IN 1916

I am going to pass this article on to my friend who is a Dean in our School of Education here at New Mexico State University. I also know that our Director and faculty of our School of Social Work will appreciate the teamwork, cooperation and planning involved in bringing technology and support to Guatemala students and wider community.

Our school has historically been involved in advancing technology with our colleagues in Autonoma University, Juarez, Mexico and also support the many family health clinics of the city. I remember how inspired and excited our social work students were when they purchased and delivered computers for our neighbors and organized medical supplies for the hospitals and health clinics in this border city. (I certainly appreciate all of the complications involved in shipping and engaging Immigration officials on both sides of the border.)

We can be very proud of the efforts of one of our social workers you mention in Guatemala and, Ned, we at NCN can applaud your fine efforts in this great service project.

A very accurate reflection. And today, after your beautiful story about your Nature experiences I have to relfect over the Secret Life of Birds!
Why are so many "things" , like Wisdom/Holy Messages inHoly Scriptures Secret??? Not because we are not supposed to know about them...but because WE don't care to listen to their TRUE "Story"!!!... WE don't care to quiet ourselves enough to hear them talking; telling us about them, their life and their dreams and aspirations! We're too busy to pay the BANKSTERS what we don't even owe them!... Is it a wonder that that wonderful guy from Nazareth said: look at the Plants and Birds, they...???... Ohhh Jazzo, CraigLang or Somebody!... help me out here.. I need your help to post here Jesus' words about the Plants and Birds not toiling for their survival, but letting our Father care for us all... something like that!
Birds are so wonderful. Some species marries for Life, like the geese. No more loyal Spouce exitsts on this Planet than a Bird-Spouce! Plus much, much more!... : )
Some species are notorious Bachelors, like the Falcons. And it all works out so wonderfully!
THANKS NED!

I went outside today but no birds about which made me feel rather lonely. I went inside instead and just a few minutes later a blue jay flew in and circled 3 times and went back out the door. Now I'm no longer disappointed about not seeing any birds today because one had a little visit with me.

Like you, I lost 3 of my very best friends from diabetes several years ago. They did not take proper care of themselves and their partners were upset with them as they could have improved their chances for a quality life. In response to this loss, I designed a massage or touch program that can be used to reduce the blood sugar levels of persons diagnosed with diabetes. Touch coordinated with the breath has proven to be a very effective preventative measure, but most health professionals fail to recognize touch as a basic human need and for prevention of diseases.

Again, thanks for sharing your loss.

Jerry
