It entered the church, the cigarette with the hand. 24 Mar 2005 @ 19:38 by Devante Galeno @69.33.46.10 : Los Peces de Babel ¡Já, já, já! The girl in the Church She walked in, into the church, A cigarette in her hand, Her chest bare under her shirt, And looking like she didn't give a damn. She took a look at the Church, With her washed-out eyes, Stroking her shirt, A faraway look on her face. She threw the cigarette away, as it was burning her hand, without even looking down, she crushed it with one foot. Who was she? Amongst all these statues, these Saints, She is the one who had wings, The one who spoke Latin. Why don't you go and tell your Popes, And your {link:http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogmatismo|holly Sacristies}, That I saw a girl, With sandals on her feet, Who just happened to look like Mary. In English: "Spiritual position of those who think themselves in possession of Truth, and attempt to impose it to other." Interestingly the English wikipedia doesn't have an entry for Dogmatism. It does have one, however, for {link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogma|Dogma}: "Dogma (the plural is either dogmata or dogmas) is belief or doctrine, held by a religion or any kind of organization, to be authoritative or beyond question." The English version is more elaborate, but somehow, the shorter (and perhaps less nuanced) Spanish definition has more punch to it, possibly because the emphasis there is on the "ism" of Dogmatism rather than on the definition of "Dogmata". 13 Apr 2005 @ 16:02 by Pascal G @194.199.79.247 : Serge Lama How did you hear about Serge Lama ??
