massively lush
green fields, blue skies
sun cool morning

Who would guess that Lou Reed [link] was keeping me company as I walked this morning past the luxuriant fields. A few days rain were all we had, but the crystal delicious nine a.m. morning blared incongruous with the sad truth of Pedro at the Wilshire Hotel on the Dirty Boulevard.

Why does Lou Reed of all the modern poets speak to me so blatantly when I find myself surrounded by the wealth of this season? That's the nature of things. You don't know what you got till it's gone. You don't know what you understand till you remove yourself from the obvious.

Nothing clearer than a blue-skied walk on a Tuesday morning.
