You are That.
The illusion of bondage
Once upon a time, there was a caravan of thirty camels traveling through the Sahara desert on their way to Cairo, Egypt Grand market. As the sun was going down beyond the horizon, the Sheik & his people decided to make camp for their first night long journey through the Desert and have some rest.
As the Camel keepers tied down the camels to the sandy ground for the night, they came to realize that they only brought twenty nine wooden pegs with them on this long trip and they really needed thirty. Confused and not knowing what to do, one of the keeper runs to the tent where the sheik was resting. "Master, Master" he calls, we have thirty camels but we only brought twenty nine pegs, what should we do?
The Sheik ponders about this problem for a little while and then declares:"These Camels are pretty stupid animals, simply pretend to tie him down, and it will stay put for the night!"
They follow the sheik's orders and pretend to tie down the Camel with an illusory rope and peg, and sure enough the Camel stays there without moving an inch all night long, strongly believing that he was tied down to a real rope.
The next morning, after untying all the Camels, the caravan was packed up and ready to go, as they were leaving for their very long journey through the Desert, the keepers took a look back after a few hundred yards, to see if they did not forget and leave anything important at the camp site. In their amazement the one Camel they pretended to tie down the night before, did not move a bit, still standing exactly were he was standing the night before.
Very confused one of the Camel’s keepers runs to the Sheik and tells him what seems to be the problem. "Master, Master, the Camel we pretended to tie down last night as you told us to do, is now not moving at all and not following the caravan with the other camels, what should we do?"
The Sheik being a man of great wisdom, ponders over the problem and the answer dawned on him. " Ahaaaaaa! The only reason why this camel is not moving, is because he did not realize the truth, he does not know that he is free, he still believes strongly to be bound to an illusory rope that does not exist, you just forgot to pretend to untie him!
Master the Camel was always free all along, there never was a rope present to bound him at all, just the belief of one, but still he will refused to accept that he was free to move and roam freely?
The Sheik answers: "Yes! Yes! that's right. The Camel is already free, but a Camel is a very stupid animal, he won't question his beleif and look if there is really a rope that bounds him, he won't accept that he is free, so you must make sure that you pretend to untie him and make him feel that he is being liberated and given freedom.
Make sure you make a big show with very big motions, so that he is convinced that you are liberating him from this false belief of bondage, from this illusory bondage of being tied down by an illusory rope and then he will accept that he has freedom or liberation even though he was never bound!"

Q: It is hard to see the divinity or Oneness in my life sometimes, especially when I feel that my life is not going the way I want it to...
As long as you feel separated from your true nature, you will feel like a victim of circumstances, asking why this and why that, why is this happening in my life! Why don't I have this or why don't I have that! I wish I had this in my life and perhaps I would be a happier person or I wish I had that etc... Looking at the world and hating one side and loving another.
Most people in life have a "wish list" that they wish they could fulfill, a "mind-set" and a purpose to become someone special. Yet they spend most of their lives striving and complaining that the grass is greener on the other side and that their glass is empty. Instead of realizing that what is happening is just as it is happening, it just is! Nothing wrong with it, it is just what is! No one has any control over Life! Life just is!
When you believe that you are separate from the Oneness, from the only One power, that is present and orchestrating this entire universe, including your life right now, from this Omni-Potence, Omni-presence and Omni-science or your true nature. Then you will feel that things are happening to you as a person and you take it personally. You will feel separated and isolated from this world. And this false belief will create a mental image over time of isolation or separated entity called the "ego", just a false mental belief of separation that seemingly concretized over time.
That illusory "veil" of separation makes you seemingly forget your true Self, your true nature and who you truly are! You feel like a small abandoned "beggar" lost in this world, when you really are a "King" disguised and playing a part of a "beggar" within it's own Kingdom! Everyone is a "divine actor" playing a unique part within this undividable divine dream play of Consciousness or Oneness, it is all the expression of that Oneness or that Consciousness.
If you come to realize that you are being lived by this Oneness, your entire life is governed by this Omni-presence and Omni-potence, than things just happen as they are supposed to happen, and deep inside you know that all is well. You have more of the attitude that "life is like a box of chocolate", you never know what you are going to get, but understand that no matter what appears to be going on in your life right now, Life is always in a state of flux, of continuous changes and this too shall pass eventually and take care of itself, so don't worry. Realize that nothing wants to hurt you in a Universe of pure Oneness, just like a long dream, nothing can ever touch you in any way. Just a divine play of infinite Consciousness and all are dancing waves on this Ocean of Oneness that you truly are!

THANKS Enocia!!! I find that I am right IN the brink of these last 2 paragraphs!!
on the one hand higher up within me I totally know & vibrate these 2 last paragraphs experiencially. BUT... it still ain't happening when my husband calls and makes demands for my transport services to him 4 times in one day as if by some obsurd whim he suddenly THINKS - wishes - wants & demands that "I" am on call. See if I were the KING or even he were the King "THAT" THAT would NOT happen. There is something better 4 me than existing at the mercy of any primary other's DEMANDING WHIM. My sucker line is, "BUT THERE IS NO ONE ELSE but YOU who can do it!"... coupled with a catch 22 of not wanting to LET OTHERS DOWN but then being terribly ANGRY for allowing my self *to go so far against my own grain*... tee hee, I bet you never in a million years thought you'd get a response like this to your VERY BEAUTIFUL and perfectly TRUE piece above...did you...

Actually I’m not surprised. Your response is perfect, Brenda. I believe you've put into words the frustration many people feel about spiritual ideas. Thank you so much for your response. I'm going to tackle some points as I see it.

I know exactly what you mean. In the relative truth, there appears to be someone called your husband demanding from someone called Brenda. In the absolute there is only Infinite Love. Is it possible to apply this realisation of the "I" that totally knows and vibrates the Absolute into your "every day" affairs?
Absolutely.
This is how I see it.
Know that there is only Love, Infinite Intelligence/Life i.e. THAT which brings the universe into manifestation and is doing a brilliant job without any human interference. And this Love is you, me, your husband, everyone. Because there is only Infinite Intelligence it is the responsibility of Intelligence to do whatever work needs to be done. When you accept this then you realise that Love/Infinite Intelligence has infinite channels to work through which could be through the human instrument called Brenda or whomever. Therefore, your husband’s transportation needs will always be taken care of by either the instrument called Brenda or other instruments; and it will always be effortless. You simply need to trust in the Intelligence and let IT do ITS work in ITS own way.
Letting go is a double-edge sword because it means the human instrument can’t take any credit for anything. It's a matter of accepting that Life is lived by the Infinite Intelligence not the human instrument.
So yes, we can all live as THAT, Brenda. It’s a matter of relinquishing responsibility and letting the Intelligence/THAT do ITS work with or without us.
