All mammals need love and affection.

And I believe for one mammal to eat another mammal is tantamount to cannibalism.

So... did Jesus advocate cannibalism when he said, "Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven" or was he just stating a fact that his body was indeed food and drink (for a spiritually starved people)?

Christianity still observes this by practicing the sacrament in remembrance of his statement.
